Job Overview

Albany Beck is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead their onboarding workstream within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work with a leading Investment Bank based in London on a long-term programme, streamlining and optimizing client onboarding processes.

As a key player in this transformation, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects that enhance the client experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, compliance, and client services to ensure project goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the onboarding workstream, ensuring timely delivery of projects in alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as a Project Manager, driving traditional project methodologies and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Track project progress, risks, and dependencies, providing clear status updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify bottlenecks and remove obstacles that hinder team productivity and project delivery.
  • Ensure alignment between onboarding initiatives and the wider banking transformation programme.
  • Manage and report on project budgets, timelines, resources, and risks.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within the investment banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of client onboarding processes and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and traditional Waterfall project management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies, delivering on time and within scope.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
