Design Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Production Engineer to join our team at ESCO - Hydra in Doncaster, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions to our customers' engineering problems, driving greater efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and review drawings and designs to ensure compliance with customer specifications and organizational guidelines.
- Develop high-level competency in creating 3D models and corresponding drawing packages, BOM, and structured part numbers.
- Review and investigate design alternatives to meet customer specifications, new products, and revisions.
- Examine and inspect products at various stages of manufacture to maintain quality and reliability.
Requirements:
- High levels of competence and relevant training with appropriate CAD CAM packages.
- Understanding of design and manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Prior use of 3D and 2D CAD packages (Siemens NX, Solid Works, AutoCAD) and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (EPR) software.
