Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Weir. As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of innovative solutions for our customers.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global organization dedicated to building a better future. You will be responsible for designing and developing solutions to our customers' engineering problems, driving greater efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and review drawings and designs to ensure compliance with customer specifications and organizational guidelines.
- Develop high-level competency in creation of 3D models and corresponding drawing packages, BOM, and structured part numbers.
- Review and investigate design alternatives to ensure all factors are considered to meet customer specifications, new products, and revisions.
- Examine and inspect products at various stages of manufacture to maintain quality and reliability.
- High levels of competence and relevant training with appropriate CAD CAM packages.
- Understanding of design and manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
