About the Role

Elvie is seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all direct cash flow activities, month-end delivery of key reconciliations, and all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

This role will manage a team of two to ensure payments across our employees, clients, and suppliers are made on a timely basis, alongside proactive management of cash collection from our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the right controls are in place to set up new customers and suppliers
  • Responsible for preparing and processing the weekly payment run, ensuring that the right approvals and reviews are in place
  • Proactively drive cash collection by building relationships with our key customers, whilst also overseeing our credit policy, seeking approval for credit terms where necessary
  • Optimise reporting and the benefit of our new P2P system to prepare aged AR and AP reporting for senior stakeholders across the business
  • Support the day-to-day management of our bank processes, including utilising any banking facilities in place
  • Responsible for key balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, AR, and AP
  • Building strong relationships across the business to ensure that queries are proactively managed to resolution
  • Day-to-day administration of the P2P system (Tipalti), including setting up new raisers and approvers, plus setting up limits in line with the authority matrix
  • Support in providing deliverables in line with year-end audit requirements
  • Support in review of expense policy and launching new ones in line with business needs
  • Process improvement across P2P, O2C, and banking

Requirements

  • Expert in P2P and O2C processes (Tipalti)
  • Familiar with banking portals and ERP platforms (NetSuite)
  • Solid accounting skills and experience in preparing balance sheets reconciliations, including bank, AR, and AP
  • Someone who communicates honestly, clearly, and directly
