About This Role

We are looking for a Senior Visual Effects Artist to join our Stumble Guys team in the UK on a remote basis. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D game assets and VFX.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Create sketches and ideations quickly for communicating concepts.
  • Animate high-quality 2D game assets and VFX using Unity and Maya.
  • Deliver assets in a timely manner to meet production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other artists and programmers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Design and produce special effects in conjunction with character movements.
  • Write technology & specification documents related to the production process and content.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience with a portfolio of industry-standard artwork.
  • Strong understanding of art pipelines, dependencies, and project scope.
  • Proficient in Maya, Substance, Unity, Photoshop, and 2D art (concepting, sprite sheet creation).
  • Skilled in Unity for special effects production with shader knowledge and ability to create textures/renderings.
  • Strong special effects design skills, focusing on sensory impact, character movement, and innovation.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, based on location and experience.
