We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technologist/Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Clayton Park Bakery, covering both our sites at Petre Road and Huncoat. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for overseeing bread production and ensuring that our food products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee bread manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement quality checks and ensure adherence to company specifications and legislation.
- Log production data to identify trends and resolve issues.
- Investigate product complaints and provide feedback to improve quality.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits and ensure adherence to traceability systems.
Requirements
- Experience in bread production and quality control is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
