About the Role

Leeds Sixth Form College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Law Lecturer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing essential knowledge and understanding to learners, as well as motivating and inspiring students to achieve targets and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess curriculum content to learners, adapting delivery methods to maximise effectiveness.
  • Record student progress, provide constructive feedback, and develop effective assessment activities.
  • Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching resources, including online learning materials.
  • Deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum, using a wide range of teaching methods.
  • Develop and employ effective assessment activities, assessing student work and providing timely feedback.

About You

  • You will hold an Honours Degree in Law or a relevant subject.
  • Relevant experience in teaching students up to Level 3 is essential.
  • You will also hold or be working towards a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience of positively managing student progression, advice, and guidance in a school or Further Education setting is desirable.
  • Proven commitment to continuous professional development is essential.
