About the Role

Leeds Sixth Form College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated A Level Lecturer - Law to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing essential knowledge and understanding to learners, as well as motivating and inspiring students to achieve their targets and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess curriculum content to learners, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Record student progress, provide constructive feedback, and develop effective assessment activities.
  • Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching resources, including online learning materials.
  • Deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum, using a wide range of teaching methods and adapting curriculum delivery methods to maximise effectiveness.
  • Develop and employ effective assessment activities, assess student work, and provide timely feedback to motivate and inspire learners.
About You
  • You will hold an Honours Degree in Law or a relevant subject.
  • Relevant experience in teaching students up to Level 3, with a proven commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience of positively managing student progression, advice, and guidance in a school or Further Education setting.
  • Proven ability to develop creative learning materials for groups of learners.
