About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced ED3 Project Manager to support the Director of ED3 in driving the delivery of the National Grid Electricity Distribution ED3 business plan. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and executing key initiatives, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and enabling insights through data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Director of ED3 to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of strategic projects and initiatives within the ED3 team.
  • Communication Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring alignment and clarity of messaging across all stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Support the establishment of KPIs and metrics to measure the performance of the ED3 delivery team, providing regular reports and analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between all functions and departments to streamline processes.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and support the development of mitigation strategies to ensure the delivery of the ED3 plan on time.
  • Executive Support: Provide comprehensive support to the Director of ED3, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Governance: Support the Director of ED3 in executing effective corporate governance requirements.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience: Degree-level or equivalent business experience, with a focus on project management in the energy or utilities sector.
  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to interpret complex data to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional organizational skills: Ability to plan effectively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility: Ability to handle changing priorities and demands.
  • High level of integrity: Strong sense of responsibility.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000-£62,000, dependent on experience and location, plus:

  • Up to 15% Annual Bonus: Based on personal and company performance.
