Clinical Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered General Nurse Team Leader to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and minor injury treatment to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to RGNs and HCAs, including supervisions and appraisals.
- Complete induction training for new starters and provide training to clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Ensure a high standard of clinical care for patients under your management.
- Assess patients, plan their care, administer treatment, and discharge or refer them as appropriate.
- Assess prisoners' fitness for detention, release, or transfer.
- Provide healthcare interventions for minor illness or injury and refer onwards for more serious conditions.
- Assess alcohol and drug intoxication and withdrawal with support and guidance from IDTS.
- Carry out first reception screening and make recommendations on prisoner care.
- Provide professional advice and support to Paramedics, HCAs, and non-clinical staff.
- Make and maintain complete and accurate clinical records.
- Be responsible for Emergency response radios and attend all emergency calls on shift.
- Lead and participate in primary clinics and wound care.
- Undertake and support prison audits.
- Provide written statements and oral testimony as required.
