We are seeking a highly skilled Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders in Care Recruitment Ltd. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will work in close partnership with the NHS, providing chemotherapy treatment in the comfort of patients' homes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a caseload of approximately 2 to 3 patients per day, providing excellent standards of education and clinical care.
  • Being an ambassador for delivering patient-focused care, offering quality nursing that is tailored to patients' needs.
  • Ensuring all clinical data is documented and adverse drug events reported via the correct protocol.
  • Building long-lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to aid and support treatment and recovery.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC pin, a full UK driving license, and a background providing chemotherapy care. You will also need to hold a current SACT passport and be competent in the administration of cytotoxic drugs, cannulation, and clinical assessments.
