Reporting directly to the Vice President of the PMO, the ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional technical skills and work closely with the Chief Architect and Lead Developers to create and implement innovative solutions that enhance the safety and efficiency of airport operations while maintaining the highest security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to outline solution requirements and specifications.
  • Install, configure, and evaluate operating systems, application software, and system management tools at project sites.
  • Assist Solution Architects in defining system design, development, and deployment needs.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes.
  • Engage with project stakeholders to define and manage product requirements, mitigate scope creep, and recommend Change Orders.
  • Produce and deliver technical, operational, and training documentation in accordance with quality assurance processes.
  • Research new hardware and software solutions, as well as strategies to enhance system performance.
  • Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement initiatives and the establishment of formal methodologies.
  • Participate in multiple concurrent projects across various global markets.
  • Support ongoing and prospective sales initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering or a related technical field with experience in delivering computer-based solutions, particularly in IT or systems engineering.
  • Over five years of experience in executing systems development and integration projects, especially those involving critical real-time systems.
  • Possession of or eligibility for government-level security clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles (OSI model, TCP/IP).
  • Familiarity with software development and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen aptitude for learning new technologies and managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods, approximately 40 to 50% of the time.
