Millar Associates is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team in London.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Quantitative Analyst to support our Front Office team in the development and implementation of derivatives pricing models and risk engines. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantitative finance and experience in implementing valuation models, tools, and pricers into a Quant library or Risk engine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement derivatives pricing models and risk engines using C++ or C#
  • Collaborate with the trading desk and risk management team to provide support and guidance on quantitative matters
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of our risk management processes
  • Work closely with the Quantitative Research team to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in quantitative finance and to identify opportunities for improvement in our models and systems

Requirements:

  • Advanced development skills in C++ or C#
  • Experience in implementing valuation models, tools, and pricers into a Quant library or Risk engine
  • Strong knowledge of interest rate models and derivatives pricing
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
  • PhD or Masters degree in a scientific field
