At BSI, we're looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our Change Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing, shaping, and leading the delivery of complex projects within our Group Change Portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering project outputs to agreed time, quality, and budget constraints.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, depending on their complexity.
  • Ensuring the application of BSI's Change Delivery Framework to all projects and compliance with EPMO standards.
  • Collaborating with Sponsors/Business Owners to manage expectations, prevent surprises, and achieve required outcomes.
  • Identifying stakeholders and meeting their interests/needs.
  • Establishing and shaping complex projects, defining workstream responsibilities.
  • Defining and managing project plans and dependencies across multiple workstreams and external suppliers.
  • Holding team members accountable for their deliverables.
  • Defining and managing project budgets and resource plans.
  • Establishing effective project governance, including Project Steering Boards, which you may Chair.
  • Managing issues, risk, and timely escalation where necessary.
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs through agreed processes.
  • Managing 3rd party resources and integrating them into the team's ways of working.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience using Microsoft Projects (MS Projects).
  • Extensive experience in portfolio/project management within multi-disciplined and commercial environments, both as a direct resource and managing others.
  • Demonstrable record of delivering complex projects successfully.
  • Experience managing project teams of 20+ people.
  • Strong leadership and line management skills.
  • High level of stakeholder management and engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Project Management Qualification such as APM, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile Certification.
  • Change Management Qualification such as APM, Prosci.
