Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Prescribing Paramedic within our Practice. You will work as part of a multi-professional team who currently offer a high standard of primary care, chronic disease management, and enhanced services to our registered population.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will hold an autonomous practitioner or equivalent qualification, be able to prescribe independently. Primary care experience is preferable but not essential. The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain excellent standards of patient care, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work as an individual or part of a small team as necessary.

The role will be within Farnham Park Health Group. The practice is an innovative, friendly, forward-thinking practice, working collaboratively within Farnham PCN. The successful applicant will share our ethos and commitment to delivering the best possible care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

The post holder will be an experienced Prescribing Paramedic, who, with freedom to act within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the patient presenting with undifferentiated symptoms, from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of their care.

  • Paramedic qualification.

  • Experience in working in primary care.

Qualifications

  • MSC or equivalent.
  • Independent Prescriber.
