Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Relief Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a Relief Security Officer, you will work 42 hours per week on a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends with 12-hour shifts. This role requires individuals who are eager to learn, be part of a supportive team, and advance their careers through continuous training and development opportunities.
In this role, you will embody our core values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness. You will need to be kind, courteous, and respectful, showing pride in wearing our emblem of three red dots. If you are passionate about security and committed to excellence, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain professionalism and clarity in all telephone communications, ensuring prompt and courteous responses to inquiries and emergencies.
- Presentation of self with a polished, professional appearance, reflecting the high standards of our organisation.
- Demonstrate strong listening skills and the ability to accurately follow directions from supervisors and clients.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency in all security operations.
- Exhibit a proactive attitude by going above and beyond in your duties, making a positive impact and contributing to the greater good of our team and clients.
- Valid SIA Licence - Door Supervisor/Security Guard.
- Clean Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (If applicant has points, no more than 6 max, for Securitas Insurance reasons).
- RTW and 5yr history including education and/or employment.
- 1 to 2 years' experience working in the security industry or show a willingness to learn and adapt well, listen to instructions and follow the chain of command.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Smartly dressed at all times.
- Work well in a team.
- Use own initiative.
- Go that extra mile and work hard.
