About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to deliver exceptional care and support to a young client with complex health needs. The ideal candidate will prioritise the client's comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in care, with a solid background in following care plans and protocols. They will be able to demonstrate confidence in their role, as well as taking a compassionate and caring approach towards the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, driving to school and daily trips.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Care experience essential with a good grounding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
- Able to drive with a valid UK license and have access to a vehicle.
