**Job Title:** Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer to join our team at James Fisher and Sons plc. As a Senior Electrical and Electronics Engineer, you will provide engineering design solutions and through-life engineering support to our commercial and defence product ranges.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide design input to new products
  • Provide engineering support to existing product ranges
  • Assess technical queries and provide solutions
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure best technical solutions
  • Sourcing materials and components, creating specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures, certifications, and reports

**Requirements:**

  • Electrical/electronic engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven electrical/electronic design skills
  • Extensive experience of circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded software
  • Good knowledge of electrical systems and designing for EMC compliance
  • Good knowledge of PCB design software and electrical design software
