We're seeking an experienced leader to join our team as an Assistant Quarry Operations Manager at our strategic limestone quarry in Stoneycombe, Devon. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for managing processing plant production, sales load-out teams, and day-to-day quarry operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while promoting a strong safety culture on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage production planning, prioritization, and achievement of results.
• Oversee plant maintenance, workforce training, and team performance to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Collaborate with commercial and distribution teams to meet customer demand and manage production targets effectively.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in operational management, preferably in quarry operations or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of Quarry Regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders.
• Financial and analytical skills, with experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude and a commitment to fostering teamwork and a positive workplace culture.

What We Offer:
• Competitive salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits package.
