Job Title: Senior Category Manager

Role: Senior Category Manager x 2 - Offshore / Energy / Civils

Location: 100% remote with occasional travel to key locations

Duration: 6 - 12 months

Key Projects:
  1. Energy / Infrastructure - Civils (underground cabling) - HVDC project
  2. Energy / Infrastructure - Offshore - HVDC project
Key Experience Required:
  • NEC or FIDIC Contracts
  • Construction
  • Offshore / Energy / Utilities / Infrastructure / Civils
Key Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand workbooks and identify support requirements
  • Develop procurement and supply chain strategies to meet business priorities
  • Develop and recommend resourcing for program/project teams
  • Coordinate cost estimation efforts
  • Co-define sourcing strategy with category leads
  • Provide inputs into program/project sanctioning
  • Define program/project delivery models
  • Drive successful program/project execution
  • Ensure procurement activities are executed within budget
  • Assess and mitigate procurement-related risks
  • Lead project 'lessons learnt' to provide feedback to category teams
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Know How:
  • Experience of end-to-end procurement or supply chain program management
  • Experience of broad, supply chain management in complex environments
  • Ability to communicate dynamically at all levels
  • Experience of building high performing teams
  • Good understanding of broader business objectives
