We are seeking a highly skilled Debt Collection and Administration Expert to join our team. As the sole Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing and collecting debts within a set timeframe, allocating and reconciling daily transactions, raising and processing invoices, and liaising with internal account managers to highlight problematic accounts and non-payments. You will also prepare client statements and weekly reports, update client files and data entry, and provide excellent customer service via the telephone.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in credit control and sales ledger, excellent customer service skills, and be able to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team. They will also be computer-literate, have experience of working on various packages and using spreadsheets and Xero accounting software, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

In this role, you will be working as part of a small finance team based in Wilmslow, where you will be responsible for managing the credit control and sales ledger functions. The salary for this role is up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience, and you will also receive free parking and a 1-hour lunch break each day. The role is fully office-based, although there may be occasional hybrid working arrangements after the probation period.
