Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will provide leadership and supervision to the overnight warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth running of the facility. This role involves coordinating activities, managing equipment maintenance, and investigating queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the overnight warehouse team, including operation debriefs and ensuring loading of vehicles is completed.
  • Work closely with the transport teams to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
  • Coordinate activities, including holiday and sickness cover planning, operational communications, health and safety compliance, and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist with team brief topics and documentation.
  • Manage the equipment maintenance and service schedule for the operational equipment.
  • Investigate all queries, both internal and external.
  • Assist in the production of KPIs and daily statistics.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential, with a good working knowledge of warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and prioritizing workload.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • MS packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Why Gregory Group:

  • Salary for Warehouse Supervisor is between £28,000 to £33,000 per annum, depending on experience and based on working 45 hours per week.
  • Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 23:00hrs – 09:00hrs.
