About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification in electrical engineering or a related field. They will possess sound knowledge of electrical power systems and network design standards. Strong technical knowledge and communication skills are essential for engaging with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize outage programs and find solutions during changing conditions.
The salary for this position is £65,752 - £76,366 per annum, plus a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family. We offer 34 days of annual leave entitlement, enhanced maternity/paternity leave, discounted healthcare, and more.
In this role, you will plan outage programs for delivery of transmission projects, network maintenance, and telecoms works. You will review project stage-by-stage single line diagrams and site layout diagrams to assess network outages required during project execution. You will also conduct network studies using PSSE software to inform on upcoming outage programs and ensure compliance with technical and security standards.
