About the Role:

As an Early Years Tutor with National Skills Agency, you will deliver exceptional teaching and learning experiences for learners to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours for vocational apprenticeships.

You will teach and assess vocational qualifications, preparing learners for end-point assessment using coaching and assessment methods. You will provide superior support to learners, collaborate with childcare providers, and meet organisational targets for qualification achievement rates.

This is a dynamic role requiring time-management and organisational skills, as well as a positive outlook and self-motivation.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A CAVA, A1 award or equivalent
  • A qualification in Early Years at level 3 or equivalent
  • A recognised teaching qualification, e.g. AET, PTTLS or equivalent
  • Previous assessing and teaching experience within the childcare sector

You will also need to demonstrate:

  • A positive attitude and personable approach
  • Resilience and ability to recover from setbacks quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage your time effectively
  • Confidence and articulacy as a presenter
  • Self-motivation and ability to energise others
  • Established credibility and experience interfacing with senior leadership
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritise under pressure
  • Strong organisation, accuracy, attention to detail, and IT literacy
