An exciting opportunity has arisen at Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust for a dedicated individual to join our busy and expanding Administration Team within YAS Academy.
Main Responsibilities- Provide general administration support to the Academy team, offering advice and practical provision of administrative issues.
- Deal with a range of non-routine activities and enquiries, including problem-solving using own initiative and chasing progress.
- Act as a key resource through the provision of administration support, providing efficient, effective, and customer-focused administrative services, as set out in relevant department, organisation, and NHS policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the Academy team, stakeholders, and the public, dealing appropriately with complex, sensitive, and confidential information.
- Support the inputting, monitoring, production, and analysis of training data, records, and information required for finite and ongoing projects within the Academy.
- Work without supervision, using own initiative to problem-solve and respond to different work demands.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) NHS Trust serves a population of over five million people across Yorkshire and the Humber, striving to ensure that patients receive the right response to their care needs as quickly as possible. We employ more than 7,100 staff, who together with over 1,300 volunteers, enable us to provide a vital 24-hour, seven-days-a-week, emergency and healthcare service.
Person Specification- Level 3 qualification NVQ3 Business Administration or a relevant subject or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent level, including English and Maths at C or equivalent or above.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Significant experience of working in a busy office environment in a similar role.
- Experience in creating, managing, and manipulating databases.
- Experience of administration and office routines.
