English Subject Lead and Improvement Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled English Subject Lead and Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Faculty, you will be responsible for leading and improving teaching and learning, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing standards and provision in the subject area.

  • To drive student achievement through effective leadership and planning.
  • To develop and implement strategies to improve teaching and learning.
  • To work closely with colleagues to achieve Faculty goals.
  • To monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • To contribute to the development of Academy policies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants should have QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, with evidence of ongoing professional development. They should also demonstrate outstanding teaching practice, excellent behavior management, and experience of improvement planning and implementing strategies to raise student achievement.
