About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Paediatric Critical Care Unit at The James Cook University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children from birth to 18 years who require short-term intensive care or high dependency care.
Key Responsibilities
As a Staff Nurse in our Paediatric Critical Care Unit, you will be expected to:
- Deliver high-quality patient care to children with complex medical needs
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and carers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current NMC registration as a RSCN/Child Branch nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
