Nursery Practitioner Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Nursery People. Our nursery is a modern and spacious setting located in a bustling area, offering a range of amenities and services to our children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality childcare and education to children aged [insert age range], ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Develop and implement engaging and stimulating activities that promote learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above recognised childcare qualification.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories.
