Insurance Account Manager

Cameron James is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our insurance brokerage, you will be responsible for managing and growing our existing book of commercial insurance business.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, service, and manage new and existing clients, including visiting clients, obtaining risk information, and negotiating premiums with underwriters.
- Maintenance and growth of existing book of business to meet monthly and annual targets.
- Keep detailed records of all correspondence with clients, insurers, and third parties.
- At least five years' broking experience dealing with commercial insurance product lines in an account manager/account executive role within a general insurance brokerage.
- Technically very competent on commercial insurance classes including Property, Commercial Combined, Financial Lines, and Fleet.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Acturis broking software.
- Ability to multi-task and manage workload priorities to meet required timeframes.
