">This is a unique opportunity to join Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust as an Adult Principal Practitioner Psychologist in their Mental Health Urgent Care service. As a member of the multi-disciplinary leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting the development of a strong psychological provision and intervention pathways.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, clinical supervision, reflective practice, consultation, and training for psychology staff and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT). You will have the opportunity to work with complex psychological presentations, particularly those experiencing mental health crises.
Mental Health Urgent Care is a relatively new service within Mersey Care, and this role presents a chance to establish and build new ways of working in urgent care services. If you are passionate about providing exceptional care and are looking for a challenging role within this field, we encourage you to apply.
You will be based at Peasley Cross, St Helens, but may be required to travel between bases and around the Mersey Care patch.
