The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Slaughterhall Operative at our Dungannon Primary Site.

As a Slaughterhall Operative, you will be responsible for:

  • Involvement in the slaughter, dressing and evisceration of cattle and sheep in accordance with animal welfare regulations and DAERA guidelines;
  • Ensuring production runs efficiently by working as a team;
  • Maintaining Health, Safety, Hygiene and food quality standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a determined individual and willing to learn;
  • Possess good communication skills;
  • Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of a team, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

Desirable qualifications include experience in a Slaughter Hall Environment and the ability to demonstrate knife skills. The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
