About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the manager in the day-to-day running of all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving donations and organising collections from private houses and other locations
  • Processing and delivering donations to local SA shops, sold on the premises or redistributed
  • Offering a repair and reuse service to the community, helping to divert unwanted goods away from landfill where practical
  • Responding to queries raised by customers, head office and the team
  • Opening and closing the centre and being involved in the ongoing recruitment and training of volunteers and staff
