Solicitors Accounts Clerk

This role plays a vital part in maintaining the confidentiality and security of our company's financial data. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Solicitors Accounts Clerk to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and be proficient in using accounting software such as LEAP or Xero. They will be responsible for managing financial obligations to suppliers and other third parties, including liaising with pension providers, accountants, and banks, and arranging foreign cash transfers where necessary.
The Solicitors Accounts Clerk will also be responsible for taking client payments by phone or in person, photocopying and scanning documents, and checking completion statements with relevant team members. Experience of producing management reports and submitting digital VAT information on a quarterly basis is desirable but not essential.
A strong understanding of accountancy rules and regulations, including money laundering regulations and data protection, is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
