Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highways and Transport Planner to join our team at Aldwych Consulting. As a key member of our traffic and transportation business, you will play a pivotal role in developing local and microsimulation traffic models, providing technical expertise, and contributing to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of local and microsimulation traffic models, supported by the existing traffic modelling team.
  • Provide technical expertise within the team and contribute to the future growth of the business.
  • Collaborate with our partner company on high-profile and challenging projects for key clients.

Requirements:

Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in using LinSig and Vissim/microsimulation software VisVAP.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software and Excel.

Experience:

  • A good level of professional work experience, with London experience highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • A good standard relevant degree, or a postgraduate qualification in transport planning or a suitable level of professional experience to demonstrate capability.
  • Experience with other software packages, including PTV Visum, GIS, Paramics, SATURN, and Aimsun.
  • Python programming skills.
  • Project management experience.
