Job Overview

This role is part of the store's Junior Management team, providing managerial support and helping to maintain and improve customer service levels throughout the section. The successful candidate will assist in supervising staff, maintaining shop floor standards, and dealing with managerial processes as instructed by Store Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
    • Deal with customer complaints and inquiries, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
    • Ensure sales staff maintain a high level of personal appearance, adhering to company guidelines.
    • Understand and implement the Customer Service measuring program.
  • Sales:
    • Meet and exceed sales targets, utilizing in-store devices to offer customers the full product range.
    • Monitor staff service levels to maximize store sales.
    • Utilize reports to inform product placement decisions, driving sales growth.
  • Visual Merchandising:
    • Attract and engage customers through effective visual merchandising techniques.
    • Assist in maintaining sales floor standards, ensuring a visually appealing environment.
    • Maintain stock levels, ensuring a clean and presentable store at all times.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Training and Development:
    • Encourage personal progression and development within the store.
    • Assist with the induction and training of new starters.
    • Support the development of existing staff, ensuring they complete relevant training and assessments.
Requirements
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
