Exciting Opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser

We are seeking a talented Junior Merchandiser to join our dynamic DIY Buying & Merch team at B&M Retail. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working closely with the Senior Merchandiser to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock levels to meet business needs, prioritizing key trading periods and seasonal peaks.
  • Support the management of core stock orders, identifying opportunities to mitigate stock/sales risks.
  • Analyse data to identify incremental sales/profit opportunities and inform supplier relationships.
  • Maintain and update linecards, ensuring accurate WSSI management.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure business needs are met.
  • Utilize Excel to manipulate reports and inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Junior Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser with a strong track record of achieving targets.
  • Results-driven with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and the Buying team.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
