University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Information Analyst to join their Data Flows team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and managing reporting for billing, data analysis, and visualisations using patient-based data sets and business intelligence reporting software.

Main Responsibilities

You will work closely with our IT development & finance teams to support the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of key trust patient activity. This will involve working to a set timetable to deliver reporting flows on time in line with internal and external expectations.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Good planning, analytical, administrative, and numerate abilities.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage and prioritise own workload and work to often tight or pressured deadlines.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree standard in a numerate discipline or has the relevant work-based experience.
  • Experience working in an information analysis or reporting focused role.
  • Able to demonstrate use of corporate databases and multi-user environments for reporting and dataset production to a high standard.
