Aqua-Tech Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our client's operational sites in Southern Scotland.

The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer with experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, capable of working efficiently in a busy environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular plant checks and readings on essential equipment.
  2. Ensure all electrical/mechanical engineering work is completed safely and efficiently.
  3. Provide assistance with breakdowns and undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance works.
  4. Work closely with Operations to ensure maximum performance and efficiency of production runs.
  5. Maintain a safe, tidy, and hygienic working environment in compliance with ISO, SAP & HACCP procedures.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as an apprentice-trained maintenance engineer.
  2. Experience in a marine environment or similarly demanding setting is desirable.
  3. Proven knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as planned maintenance systems and installations.
