About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our team at Groveside School in Reading, Berkshire. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and support to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to promote academic and personal growth among pupils
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attainment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • QTS and experience working with SEND pupils
  • A proven track record of raising standards and improving outcomes
  • An ability to inspire and motivate pupils, as well as build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
