About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at The Solution Group Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple contracts within the steelwork industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Oversee and manage all stages of steelwork contracts from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Cost Management: Handle all aspects of budgeting, including costings, forecasting, and financial control, to ensure accurate and efficient project management.
  • Site Surveys & Meetings: Conduct site surveys and attend client and site meetings to ensure project requirements are fully understood and met, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Labour Management: Organize and oversee labour, ensuring resources are efficiently utilized and projects run smoothly, with a focus on minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
  • Deadline Management: Work to strict deadlines, ensuring contracts are completed to the highest quality standards, and meeting the expectations of clients and stakeholders.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract and project management within the steelwork industry, with a focus on architectural steel.
  • Technical Skills: A strong understanding of budgeting, costing, surveys, and labour management, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and subcontractors, and to communicate complex project information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Travel: A willingness to travel nationwide, as the role involves managing contracts across the country, with a focus on minimizing travel time and maximizing productivity.
