Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our specialist team of nurses and healthcare professionals as a Specialist Wound Care Nurse. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex wounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial specialist assessments of patients with complex wounds, including those referred from District Nurses, GPs, and Community and Acute Hospitals.
  • Utilize a range of resources, including digital technologies, to support patient care.
  • Provide advice and guidance to District Nursing and other members of the MDT.

You will work closely with our specialist team to deliver responsive, patient-centred care in line with NICE guidance and local and national standards.

Requirements
  • Registered Adult Nurse.
  • Post-registration qualification in wound care, tissue viability, or leg ulcer management.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
