Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tissue Viability Specialist Nurse to join our dynamic and expanding tissue viability and wound clinic team in Barnet at Central London Community Health Trust (CLCH). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex wounds, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing expert care to patients with complex wounds, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans.
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conducting regular audits and evaluations to ensure high-quality care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participating in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest wound care practices and technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Registered General Nurse.
  • Experience in tissue viability and wound care, including leg ulcer management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
