Job Title: High Voltage Operations Director

Location: Norwich, with occasional travel to project sites

Salary: £48,000 - £60,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Voltage Operations Director to oversee operational activities, ensuring efficient and timely project delivery while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage operational processes and projects within the high voltage energy sector
  • Ensure the successful delivery of high voltage projects on time and within budget
  • Oversee procurement and supplier relationships specific to high voltage equipment and materials
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the high voltage energy industry
  • Manage and report on operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and customer service
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting operational expenses, and ensuring cost control
  • Mentor and manage the Operations Assistant, ensuring team cohesion and high engagement
  • Maintain strong communication with senior management and external stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to high voltage energy
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in renewable energy or sustainable energy sectors
  • Expertise in high voltage equipment procurement and supplier management
  • Experience with large-scale electrical infrastructure projects
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of operations management experience in the high voltage energy sector
  • Demonstrated success in managing high voltage projects and leading operational teams
