Job Description:

Teaching Assistant for Young Learners
  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic support to students in Nursery and Reception classes
  • Deliver phonics, spelling, reading, and writing sessions tailored to individual student needs
  • Assist with general classroom duties, including preparing materials and maintaining a safe learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Lead booster sessions and provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with young learners in a primary school or private nursery setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Benefits:

  • $4,800 - $6,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience
  • Ongoing education and training opportunities
  • Long-term contract with a September start date
