Job Title: Special Education Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs in a Primary school setting. As a Special Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have experience working with children with autism and other special educational needs. You will provide one-to-one or small group support to students, adapting materials and activities to suit individual needs. This may include supporting students with academic tasks, such as reading, writing, and numeracy.

Responsibilities:
* Provide emotional support to students with challenging behaviors
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to monitor student progress and contribute to the assessment process
* Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their independence and self-esteem
* Promote inclusion and diversity within the school community

Requirements:
* Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs
* Compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs
* Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing student and school needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The estimated salary for this role is £18,000-£20,000 per annum, depending on experience.
