Instrument Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Project Engineer to join our team at Nelson Permanent Placements. This is a key role within a highly skilled team, responsible for the full life-cycle management of instrumentation projects at a lower-tier COMAH facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the modification of plant instrumentation systems using a change management process.
  • Create and modify instrumentation drawings using CAD or similar software, ensuring familiarity with documents such as loop drawings, I/O lists, P&IDs, network architecture diagrams, bills of quantities, and equipment schedules.
  • Work towards ISO 9001 standards and promote continuous improvement across projects.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the chemical process or similar regulated industries, such as Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Food, or Oil & Gas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • 5+ years of experience managing instrumentation projects within industrial or regulated environments.
