Portfolio Management Senior Analyst - Derivatives and Liability Hedging

This role is part of WTW's Portfolio Management team, which oversees over £130bn of assets globally.

The Role
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to develop portfolios that effectively hedge UK pension scheme liabilities, generate cashflows, and increase investment returns.
  • Analyze UK pension scheme liabilities, identifying and quantifying associated risks.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members to ensure timely and high-quality output.
  • Develop and present high-quality papers recommending changes to client portfolios.
  • Expand knowledge of UK pension schemes, fixed-income assets, and derivative markets to work independently and present ideas to clients and internally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers to design and implement derivative portfolios.
  • Support the development of cashflow generative fixed-income mandates.
  • Contribute to the analysis of UK pension scheme liabilities and the identification of associated risks.
