Job Title: Senior Portfolio Analyst

Location: London

Salary: £85,000 per annum + Bonus

Full/Part, Time: Full Time

Lawes Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Analyst to join their team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to take on a leadership role with a secure management structure from day one.

The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying trends, feeding back data, and reporting on performance. They will work closely with the Portfolio Manager to drive improved underwriting performance through the use of analytics and propose actions on all portfolios.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating, managing, and enhancing processes that allow clients to gain insight into their portfolios and effectively manage them. They will support the Partnership Team with engagement within Portfolio Underwriting, setting, and delivering against agreed objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify trends and feed back data to inform underwriting decisions
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Manager to drive improved underwriting performance
  • Create, manage, and enhance processes to support client portfolio management
  • Support the Partnership Team with engagement within Portfolio Underwriting
  • Monitor claims and market environment to ensure profitable business and stay abreast of changing market conditions
  • Oversee the monitoring of broker behaviour for signs of anti-selection and market dynamics
  • Assist the Portfolio Underwriting team with new Class, product or market assessment and approval
  • Provide support to the Portfolio Underwriting team in the delivery of wider strategic priorities
  • Ad-hoc analytics as required
