About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Practitioner to join our Compass Mental Health Support Team. As a Supervising Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educational settings and the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people
  • Work across both educational settings and the community
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with education settings and other stakeholders
  • Drive highly effective and CYPF focussed mental health and wellbeing services

Requirements

  • Core professional and/or clinical qualification (EMHP, CWP, PMHW, nursing with specialism in mental health or learning disability nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work)
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Supervision (EMHP supervisor course) or Two years post qualification experience of working therapeutically with children and young people and willingness to undertake a PG Certificate in Supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to form positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders
