About the Role:
As an HR Advisor at Toad Hall Nursery Group, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive HR support to the Head of HR and the wider business. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for both management and employees, offering timely and effective HR advice on a range of issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Develop and implement recruitment strategies, manage employee onboarding processes, and handle employee relations casework.
- Employee Relations & Legal Compliance: Provide support for employee relations, ensure compliance with employment law, and conduct annual audits of personnel files.
- Payroll & Compensation: Manage payroll processing, ensure compliance with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage regulations, and assist with employee benefits and compensation.
- Training & Development: Oversee training programs, deliver HR training sessions, and manage training feedback and recognition programs.
- Health & Wellbeing: Coordinate employee health and wellbeing initiatives, support workplace wellness programs, and manage employee exit processes.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification with up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in payroll, HR administration, and employee relations.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Access to own transport for travel to nursery settings.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
